Romanian Bear Sanctuary: Rescuing Bears from Cruelty World Animal Protection USA

Some bears live and die in appalling captive conditions ( http://wspa-usa.org/wspaswork/bears/d...), caged or chained as tourist attractions or used for cruel blood sports like bear baiting. But for others, the suffering can and does end in a better future.

With supporters help, WSPA is working with a local organization in Romania to provide homes for bears rescued from suffering. To learn more, please visit, http://www.wspa-usa.org/helpbears.

Note: This film was originally produced prior to June 2014, when we were known as the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). We are now World Animal Protection.
